Charlie and Braden

Many of you have been following the story of Susan Cox Powell.
She went missing 2 years ago, from a town not far from where I live.
This last Sunday their father ( who has been a person
of interest in their mother's disappearance )
took thier lives, and his own.

My heart breaks for their family and friends.
You are in my prayers.

There's not much I can do for them... but remember them in my own way.

Charlie and Braden....

Give your momma a hug from me.

Such adorable little angel boys...this story makes me so sad! I just don't understand the violence in this world involving children...I shall pray for the family that's left behind grieving the great loss.

Awwwww sweet image, but sad, oh sooooo sad story. Yes, we DO NEED TO PRAY for the family of these two little boys and their Mom...especially for Susan's parents. What an overwhelming loss for them. I can't even imagine.

Thank you for these. The story is so sad and such a shame, too. I pray that they are buried apart from the father. It may sound mean but they did not deserve this. My heart goes out to the Mom's parents.

As a grandmother, my heart breaks for each set of parents. To lose a child and grandchildren is undeniably the most tragic of losses. My prayers are to all the families. You are wonderful to honor them in such a way. Only God knows why such things happen. Now the boys will be forever able to play, and be with their mom, and she them.
I pray for their father too. He had to be tortured if in fact he did what he is alleged to have done. One minute of anger or hate is all it takes to produce a lifetime of regret and sorrow. I will pray for his soul as well.
God bless you too, Nikki.

This is a sweet, sad, wonderful tribute. I saw the first news coverage back in 2009, and when this recent news broke, I was shocked by how deeply it affected me. I have a 16 month old son, and all I wanted to do was hug him close. I pray for those two little angels, and hope their grandparents find comfort knowing they are surely with their mother now, safe from their father's evil.

I can't understand how a parent could kill their children. Charlie and Brayden are in a happy place now without evil. My prayers go out to their loved ones.

When the story broke, I had to go online to make sure I'd heard correctly. Living in Oregon, every once in a while there would be a story. I don't understand how any one could do this.

Nikki, thank you for remembering the boys. They didn't ask for any of this but suffered greatly. Susan's parents are going to be second guessing themselves for a very long time.

Thank you for the image.

This story has broken my heart on so many levels. I'm sure there was a joyful reunion in heaven between Susan and her darling boys! Safe in the arms of their loving mother once again! This stamp is a beautiful tribute to them all! I LOVE the heart with "MOM" on it.

This is such a lovely tribute to those adorable little boys and their mom. It's been on the news here as well, as the boys lived not far from where I grew up. The whole story is so sad. The good thing now is that the boys are with their mom in heaven and their dad is burning in the pits of hell for all eternity. God bless this family.
