Someone in Utah loves you!

This post requires a little bit of explaining I think. It actually is not what I had scheduled for today. Yesterday I saw a web address in the back of a car window, and the inspiration to draw something went through my head... by the time I got home I had forgotten!( I really cannot be held responsible for anything important. ) When I got to work last night I saw a commercial for St. Jude's children's hospital, and I had the idea run through my head, and once again I filed it away in my head for later. Then I saw the music video "journey on" by Ty Herndon, and thought to myself.... I think there's something I need to do. (I really shouldn't get after my kids for not doing what they are told to do the first time, I'm afraid they must have inherited it from me.)
So.... here it is. I've never seen any images of a child who through some reason has lost their hair. Hopefully this post will be the answer for someone looking for an image to use for that reason. I have a hard time with little ones being afflicted with disease... as a parent it is your worst nightmare... the helplessness... please know that I really do love people, and in my own little way am trying to share that with you.

Here's the link I saw, the website is so fabulous:) Maybe we can kick a little over to them from here!

I really do love this sentiment... Life really is a journey...

Thank you. I've spent much time in the pediatric Onc clinic over the past almost 3 years and these are great. I think these would be great to help make someone smile, even if it is just for a while.

Darling Nikki, the very same thing happens to me. I see something that I know I want to write about but somehow forget about iT. I try to jot it down in a list format so that even if it slips my mind, I can be reminded of it at a later stage. Generally I like to fill my other blog with such things that feels "out of the ordinary" and thats where something like this would go.
These are beautiful digi stamps and truly shows how compassionate you are. Thanks for sharing darlin'.

Nikki, this is so very thoughtful of you. I have to get infusions and the place where this takes place is a cancer center. I see a lot of adults and some children who have loss their hair as a result of chemo. I will definitely be using these. How very sweet of you to share these.
