Last night on the TV show Nightline, I watched a segment on an orphanage for baby elephants in Nairobi. They are the cutest things I have ever seen! The name of the orphanage is the Dvaid Shedrick Wildlife Trust. If you have a minute, you really should checkout the Nightline segment. I think they said it was next month an IMAX movie called Born to be Wild comes out about them.
Just in case Mike asks what I would like for my birthday, please tell him I'd like an elephant... pretty pretty please!:)

Hi Nikki, I posted this morning, but I don't see it here...maybe I goofed. Anyway, I wanted to say TY for all the wonderful and creative images you provide for us all. You are an awesome artist and we all here appreciate what you do. My mom loved elephants and I'll be sure to see the Imax movie when it comes out.

Elephants, in general, are cute animals. Although I love the look of the Indian Elephant in comparision to his African cousin. Theres are place called the Masai Mara in Nairobi, which is an animal reserve. Tourists can take guided tours within this huge area. Its amazing to see the wild life so close. Animals belong in their own habitat, really its a shame to see these gorgeous creatures in zoo's !! Thats just NOT the place for them ! Oh oh !! Got carried away .. thats exactly what happens everytime I talk on animals. Just love the darn things so much.
