Awwww...

My mother was a very talented seamstress and quilter. Some of my most prized posessions are the quilts that she made. Her stitches are perfect.... she told me mine look like a big running stitch...lol. When I heard this quote, it remined me instantly of her.

Aww, May God bless her. Mothers are angels. Your mum looks so kind. Does she still make quilts ?

Aren't the stitches supposed to look like a running stitch. I guess that I didn't learn very well.

Wish my mother-in-law were still alive... This sentiment fits her perfectly! I miss her after 11 years.

:) Michleene, You never saw Aunt Pat quilt..lol. She did it absolutely perfectly, and I fell way short of that. Thanks Dee and Sue, I miss her alot, but it's comforting to have the quilts:)

How precious. My grandmother was like your mother she could quilt and make you think she used a machine. I miss her. I love the pic of your mom on the turkey(?). lol Thanks for sharing with us.

P.S. As a Literature major and writer, I love to hear the stories. :-D
